I’m doing something different for Halloween this year.  Instead of hanging at home, waiting for the dogs to bark when strangers ring the doorbell, I’m offering my local readers two great opportunities to play with their dogs!

Come on out to Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey, NH on Friday, October 31, 2014 and join me for a Howl-O-Ween celebration.

From 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friendly dogs looking to practice their best behaviors are invited to a Halloween Fun & Games event.  We’ll be playing Halloween themed games such as Tricks for Treats, and Sit-Tac-Toe.  This event will be appropriate for dogs who know at least one trick, and can do a sit/stay and a down/stay on leash with their handlers next to them.  Bring lots of yummy treats for your dog and be prepared to laugh.  $20 per dog/pre-registration please to (603) 352-9011 ext 206

Beginning at 7 p.m. the music will be cranking and we’ll be showing off our spins, weave through your legs, left and right heel positions and any other tricks you can think of as we hold a Rally FrEestyle Dance Fun Run.  Course maps will be available a week in advance, so you’ll have time to plan your run.  Prizes for Best Costumes, Best Connection between Dog & Handler, and Trick that makes the Judge’s Eyes Pop Out.  $20 per dog/pre-registration please to (603) 352-9011 ext 206.

(What’s that you say?  You haven’t heard of Rally FrEe? Get more information at the www.rallyfree.com website.)

Hope to see you there!
